Platforms Project NET 2021
Now in its ninth consecutive year, Platforms Project is the international show that indicatively charts the art currently produced through collective initiatives by young artists on the international scene as they join forces to seek answers to contemporary artistic questions.
The project is managed by Artemis Potamianou and Michalis Argyrou. The Artistic Director of Platforms Project 2021 is Artemis Potamianou.
We continue to stay in but we persist in creating, bringing together the voices of the independent art scene and demonstrating the power of art and technology. The Platforms Project Net 2021 will enable a wider audience of art lovers to access the works and the artists of the groups through a digital show, and viewers can live a new experience by visiting the Platforms Project site for 15 days, from May 27th to June 10th, 2021.
A virtual plan view of the ‘Nikos Kessanlis” exhibition space of the Athens School of Fine Arts shows the platforms installed in their digital stands. Viewers can click on a platform’s number and title and see the works presented by each artist in the group (video-art, painting, photography, installations, etc). Visitors to the new Platforms Project NET may engage in direct, real-time dialogue with the artists over the internet as part of the overall interactive experience.
The Platforms Project NET will be featuring 68 platforms from 28 countries (Greece, UK, Germany, Canada, USA, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, France, Panama, Finland, Indonesia, Turkey, Serbia, Russia, Cyprus, Italy, Hong Kong, Australia, China, Ukraine, Chile, Slovenia, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela) and over 900 artists.
